Dis-assembling
This morning's fun and games began with reel and bobbin threads becoming completely tangled around the bobbin casing. I cut them out, dis-assembled the bobbin section, but the only odd thing I could find was a lot of accumulated fabric dust. A good cleaning with the (laptop) keyboard cleaning yoke and an old pastry brush seems to have done the trick. Reassembling the innards required seven hands and some choice expletives but all is now well again.
When I had finished sewing requested face masks I finally began the new quilt I felt coming over me last week! Choosing a pattern is more difficult than choosing fabrics, for me.
The sewing room floor is now a fabric- scrap- swamp and I am having a cuppa tea!
