Tools: Pencil

Last night I was searching for my crochet lace hooks, which is another story, and I got to thinking of the tools I use. It is not only large machines which are tools, but everyday ordinary items, such as pencils, paper, measuring tapes. 

I know this but I often forget to appreciate the everyday things, like much used, working pencils. 

A photography challenge in which I am participating was what got me thinking; this week's challenge being, you've guessed, pencils!
