Truly Tropical
It is a well-known fact that Irish people are really dis-placed Mediterraneans, and that when the sun shines they take to outdoor living with delight. It is a lesser known fact that at any high temperatures the Irish are inclined to melt.
The temperatures in the West this week have been in the low 20s so many have taken to mountains, street cafés and beaches with gusto. This evening we had a late supper outside and it is such a treat to do so.
I spent the day with friends, talking, laughing and looking at photos on phones. It is so handy to pass the phone around:
Look at the wardrobes I bought in the charity shop! Oh they're great!... followed by... Look at the rams we just got! Wow, smart trailer, oh the rams look smart too!
Lovely day.
Lucky me!
And especially happy to have returned home with flowers from a friend's garden.
